Supernatural: The relationship of the Winchester brothers

Now, if you have read my post and if you have seen the first episode of Season 5 you might have wondered why I did not write about the ending.

Well, I thought the relationship of the Wichester brothers deserves some extra attention so I post it extra.
First off all I am not really happy how this part turned out.
Sure, Sam was the one who broke the last seal but lets rewind to the beginning. Who broke the first seal? Who is responsible that this started? It was Dean. So the story just comes full circle with both brothers being involved.
That in mind, and Dean had to listen to his many times from the angels, he should not have said that he cannot trust his brother anymore.
The agenda was to stop Lillith from breaking the seals the whole time.
In the end Dean did not think that Sam was strong enough to beat her. He wanted him safe.
Sam also took off to prevent the last seal from being broken. He never intended to break it. He got tricked by Ruby.
To me there was no real trust issue. Sam believed in his powers and thought he can stop it. Dean was concerned but did not know how to stop it as he was overcome by fear to lose his brother.
He knew he was responsible for it to have started but he was also told that he would be the one to stop it.
The angels around Zachharias thus did not prevent the event. They were accomplices to the demons. They wanted Lucifer loose so that he can be killed. They took Dean in and claimed him for their own little crusade preventing him from being with his brother and just threw the truth into his face when it was too late to act.
Sneaky bastards.
Now Dean has to come off his high horse and stop playing the tune of self righteousness. He always was the stronger brother and he needs to understand what happened. They need to unite to destroy the strongest demon they could ever face.

Lucifer is waiting.
